My HD os 30GB, and I have an oculus rift s, FC3, nevada test range, and the Caucasus. Today I bought the middle eastern map, and it says there is insufficient space, WTF ! I’m TOTALLY NOT A COMPUTER GUY, but does that seem right ?
Svsmokey Posted April 12, 2020 Posted April 12, 2020 Yes , depending on what size drive you have . DCS requires more space to install than the the installed size . You can delete all .temp files to recover some space . Type "temp" or "temporary" in the search bar . If yours is 300GB, I could see it getting tight fairly quickly. Drives are very reasonable now, I would consider adding a second larger SSD for your DCS install. eaglecash867 Posted April 13, 2020 Posted April 13, 2020 Yup. I think your hard drive is bigger than 30GB, otherwise I don't think you would even have enough space for your OS. I definitely concur with Don, you can get a MUCH bigger hard drive than 300GB for about 50 bucks. Decent 1TB hard drives start in that price range, and it would cure a lot of your headaches.
