HoYa Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 Let me just say that I love this sim. However it is getting very frustrating. Prior to this update it was locking up quite a bit. So,I’m was very happy there was an update tonight. This is the worst it’s ever been. It is completely unplayable, as there is no fluid motion just a series of choppy screens. I hope this gets better soon...

Hotdognz Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 This update has tanked my FPS in VR, my testing mission for VR is Instant action F16 on the Caucus map, yesterday I was getting 40 FPS with my Oculus rift ASW 1.3 PD, custom settings in DCS, this update its down to 20 FPS with the same settings. Even using the in game VR settings as default its still at 20 FPS on the runway, it does not get to 40 FPS untill in the air and away from the airfield and then it bounces between 20 and 40 with not much in between, also looking at the sun kills the FPS to 20, it never goes below 20 though. Another bad VR update, this last year nearly every DCS update has killed my VR FPS and I have to spend hours clawing every bit of frame rate back. im so glad the SC isnt out Id hate to think how much that will kill my game. Back to tweaking again or maybe its time to go stable.
Avenger31 Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 As i told earlier on other part of forum ED do not care for core of the game they just care to take our money with new half finished modules. So do not bother yourself with this anymore let them be. Asus TUF RTX 3080 10g GAMING; Intel i9 10900K; Asus B460 TUF GAMING PLUS; 2x32GB DDR4 3200Mhz HyperX Predator RGB; SSD 1TB Samsung EVO Plus

Gunfighter6 Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 Getting about 22 fps and lower inside cockpit of any planes, I've tried tomcat, hornet, and viper. Noticed looking at cockpit and moving your head around inside cockpit will drop frames badly making you ill. Looking out side of the cockpit seems a little smoother. Also, my FPS count for some reason shows my video memory as 0.00 gb. I am using latest nvidia driver, 445.87. Win 10 · i9900K@stock · 4070Ti· ASUS Z390-A · SSD · 64Gb · TM Warthog · CV1 · Quest 2
