Retro_One_One Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Again nice work! No problems with Flaming Cliffs on Vista for you then? Retro. Majesco Posted January 8, 2008 Author Posted January 8, 2008 I don't like Vista because of some problems that my friends have had XP works well, i'm running LOFC on XP SP2
Retro_One_One Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 I am about to install FC on a Vista machine for a friend, and hope to not get into too much trouble! Then i will have a crack at my system 3.6ghz (I hope!) Got to love those Gigabyte boards, rock solid:thumbup: Retro. Majesco Posted January 8, 2008 Author Posted January 8, 2008 I'd be careful with the stock cooler, 70°C are a little high, Intel's Thermal Specification for the E2160 is 61.4°C: http://processorfinder.intel.com/details.aspx?sSpec=SLA3H i hope i wont have any problems at that temperature my friend is running E2140 1.6Ghz @3.2Ghz and stable at tempereature about ...80oC (full load) with stock fan :music_whistling: / he use Giga P35-S3L (not all solid capacitors like mine)
thereminqblank Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Are you running with full shadows Majesco? "Unholy Roller" [sIGPIC]http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/images/userbars/A-10C_UserBar_01.gif[/sIGPIC]
Boberro Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Iam impressed water and shadows, rest isn't IMO too different from medium settings. Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
Majesco Posted January 8, 2008 Author Posted January 8, 2008 Are you running with full shadows Majesco? yes, take a look at the first screenshot or below: I set Full shadow
thereminqblank Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 That's pretty cool. I suffer from the nVidia full shadow bug, so am quite jealous of that. Nice work on the new playtoy! "Unholy Roller" [sIGPIC]http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/images/userbars/A-10C_UserBar_01.gif[/sIGPIC]
kiss4luna Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 not the acceptable frame rate for me i will love a steady 60fps RTX 3070
