mehksauce Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 A-A or A-G, whats your guys fun loadouts in the jeff? for me i recently found out about this one, and its been my main go to ever since. "BRM and TGP on station 2&6, central fuel tank on station 4, and 2 GB6SFW on 3&5 loadout" 1
shaHeen-1 Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 For wiping groups of ground vehicles I don't like from beyond the reach of amraams: 800 fuel tank centerline, 2xgb6sfw on inner pylons, 4xSd10 on outer, 2x PL5 on tips. Use fuel tank to get high and fast. ~20nm from PPs drop the gb6. Drop the empty/nearly empty tank. Switch FBW to AA. Kill up to 4 bandits in the area with SD10. RTB comfortably on mil power. Rinse and repeat.
foxwxl Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 For AA basically you only have 2 choices: 1. 4 SD10+SPJ 2. 4 SD10+TGP U can choose either one that suit your style. For AG, is based on your mission objective and current enviroment: For CAS, I already listed and U have already used it. Switch tank for TGP , and station 2 for LD10 if SAM/AAA still present in the area. For SEAD: 4 LD10+SPJ+2 800L could be considered. or 2 LD10+ 2 SD10 +SPJ if A2A is still a concern. For OCA: 4 LS6+ 1 central tank(PP MODE for static targets) 3 LS6+ 1 800L + TGP(for uncertain targets like CC) or 4 LS6 if the battle line is close. 2 802AKG + 2/4 LD10 +DL POD (for fun and long range CC kill) For ASuW: 2 802AK + 4 LD10 + SPJ (if A2A is a concern, switch 2 LD10 for SD10) 1 Deka Ironwork Tester Team
shaHeen-1 Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 Shame you can't put 1 Ld10 and 1 SD10 on same rack. Trimming Jeff is the worst thing about it. No trim reset button.
hamza_Khan Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 Shame you can't put 1 Ld10 and 1 SD10 on same rack. Trimming Jeff is the worst thing about it. No trim reset button. I think that's because the Aircraft can select the Pylon, but not a Weapon within that pylon. Even if you load 1 LD and SD on same rack, the problem is how are you gonna choose which weapon to fire? This is the same all over the world. I maybe wrong but I've never seen any aircraft carrying different weapons on same rack eg 2 snakeyes and 1 GBU12 on TER rack or 2 Rockeyes and one MK82 on same rack. The problem is how are you going to choose what to drop within a pylon. 1
shaHeen-1 Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 Of course I would take a trim reset button over that any day 1
MK84 Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 My usual SEAD/DEAD loadout: 2x PL5E, 2x SD10s, 2X LD10s, 2x GB6-SFW, 1x WMD7 1
paco2002 Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 When I have to go CAP, I like to be light as much as I can, so I only carry 2 SD-10 (1 each wing) and PL5.
Tiger-II Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 Sweep: 2x PL5 4x SD-10 2x 800L 1x SPJ CAP: 2x PL5 2x SD-10 2x 1100L 1x SPJ Anti-Armor: 2x PL5 2x BRM-1 2x tanks or bombs 1x WMD7 Anti-Radiation: 2x PL5 2x or 4x LD-10 2x or zero SD-10 2x 800L 1x SPJ Anti-Ship: 2x PL5 1x DL POD 2x C807AKG or C807AK 1x SPJ 1x WMD7 or none 1x CL 800L or none 2x SD-10 or none 2x LD-10 or none Attacking hardened structures/buildings: 2x PL5 2x or 4x SFW 2x or 4x GBU-10/16 2x 800L or 1x CL 800L or none 2x SD-10 or 2x LD-10 or none 1x WMD7 It depends a bit on the mission profile.
