Kusch Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 DCS support Head Mounted Display (iWear)? (Lock-On is supported) Example: http://www.fspilotshop.com/product_info.php?products_id=1355 Give me "flying telephone pole" (SA-2)!
VMFA117_Poko Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Hi Kusch :) Just plug in and view extraordinary high resolution video on a virtual display equivalent to a 62-inch screen at 9 feet. iWear® 3D and integrated 3 Degree of Freedom (DOF) tracker and built-in microphone deliver the ultimate interactive online experience. Unfortunately as all gaugles it is only 3DOF :/
GreyStork Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Unfortunately as all gaugles it is only 3DOF :/ That could be remedied with something like TrackIR. I don't know how disorienting that might be, though. It does have a resolution that is a bit too low, in my opinion, for a flight simulation featuring a virtual cockpit, though (640x480). Your sure about that... From the Site: Support for up to 1024x768 VGA video formats My mission is to fly, fight, and win. o-:|:-o What I do is sometimes get a tin of soup, heat it up, poach an egg in it, serve that with a pork pie sausage roll.
GreyStork Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Your sure about that... From the Site: Support for up to 1024x768 VGA video formats Well, they explicitly say that the displays are 640x480. I'm guessing they're able to downsample input up to 1024x768. That still doesn't make the actual display resolution higher, though. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] - Study flight sim geek since Falcon 3.0 -
