Oceandar Posted May 2, 2020 Posted May 2, 2020 Has anyone else noticed how rough and bumpy all the runways have become in this version? Or is it just me?Yes, I noticed this as well. Yesterday took off from PG al-Minhad and later on ad-Dhafra airbase. It was really bumpy. Probably realistic, not that really concern me tbh. Mastering others is strength. Specter Posted May 2, 2020 Author Posted May 2, 2020 .....Probably realistic.......... I've flown of a lot of real runways including grass in small aeroplanes and I can assure you this is not realistic in any way whatsoever. i7-10700K @ 5Ghz | Asus Z490 Tuf Pro Gaming | RTX 3090 | 64 Gb RAM @3.6Ghz | 1TB Samsung 970 EVO+ SSD | 1TB addlink S70 M.2 SSD | 1TB Samsung 850 EVO | 4TB HDD | Reverb G2 | Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS | Thrustmaster TPR rudder pedals | Thrustmaster Cougar MFDs
=475FG= Dawger Posted May 2, 2020 Posted May 2, 2020 Yes, I noticed this as well. Yesterday took off from PG al-Minhad and later on ad-Dhafra airbase. It was really bumpy. Probably realistic, not that really concern me tbh. It just depends on the runway. North America and Europe have pretty smooth runways. South America, not so much. Some are very rough. Guayaquil, Ecuador has a large hump at the perfect spot to sling us into the air just below stall speed when I used to fuel stop there on the annual excursion to Argentina. The Caribbean has runways carved out of the coral which rip the tires to shreds and some are pretty rough. I didn't do much flying in the ME but the runways I did use were pretty average.
Specter Posted May 2, 2020 Author Posted May 2, 2020 I have flown into and out of Al Dhafra many times. It's runways are as smooth as any in the West. In DCS they might be made from Coral!! i7-10700K @ 5Ghz | Asus Z490 Tuf Pro Gaming | RTX 3090 | 64 Gb RAM @3.6Ghz | 1TB Samsung 970 EVO+ SSD | 1TB addlink S70 M.2 SSD | 1TB Samsung 850 EVO | 4TB HDD | Reverb G2 | Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS | Thrustmaster TPR rudder pedals | Thrustmaster Cougar MFDs
