External Camera lag

hi everyone,

 

 

did a quick search and didn't find a similar topic. What setting is it on the external cameras that's causing me so much lag? Long time since I played and external used to be a great way to check my aircraft out, now it looks like a tilt-shift camera and absolutely murders my framerate (even though my rig is now far beefier).

See if Depth of Field is enabled in the graphics options and disable it. It absolutely destroys FPS

And on top of that it looks absolutely terrible...
