I just rebuilt my rig, and re-installed 2.5 Open Beta on the same SSD where it had been before, in this case it is drive Y. In my previous install I was able to change drives when selecting a mission, as it normally started in the saved games folder, which is my rig is on Drive X. That way I could select a practice mission from a campaign what was installed in the game folders on drive Y, or go back to the saved game folder. After the re-install I am not able to select a drive, no matter how many times I double click on the .. at the top of the folder structure. Is there a way to get this back to where I can see a drive to select? I know that I can copy the missions over to the saved games folder, but I didn't have to do this a week ago before the re-install. Thanks.

Do you have "folder browser" ticked?

I have that option under the mission editor, but not from the mission menu when I am trying to select a mission to fly. And I have tried checking it under the mission editor and I still can't access a different drive when trying to select a mission to fly.

Yes, you are right ... on the Missions menu you only get access to /saved games/dcs/missions ... I used Windows MKLINK /J command to put my custom missions on a Cloud drive, so as to have version support (so I can undo a bad edit) and continuous backup.

On the mission editor you can select whatever drive you please .. take a look at the bottom part of the folder list, on the figure above. :)

What I can't figure out is that my previous install, which I wiped out last week to build the new rig, allowed me to change drives with no problem. I can't figure out why it worked then but not now. Maybe I will put in a couple of symbilic links to tie them all together. The only reason it's an issue is I go back and forth between my own missions and ones that are practice missions for campaigns that are installed in the main program folders.

No, you can access any folder on the drive that DCS is installed on. Just double click on the '..' to keep going up.

However, it is VERY annoying that we can't change drives in the Mission menus.
