[NEED TRACK] Cannot launch in F-14

Gosh I can't believe I'm posting this, but I cannot figure out how to launch with my trusty 'Cat.

 

Here is what I do :

 

1. taxi to a cat
   
2. follow the Plane director
   
3. Kneel the bird - holdback gets installed
   
4. taxi fwd
   
5. engage the shuttle
   
6. disregard the sign to raise launch bar as it would stand the Tomcat up
   
7. set sweep and flaps
   
8. wait for the run up signal
   
9. go to mil and wipe the controls
   
10. use comms menu and SALUTE
    
11. Shooter goes through the motions, kneels and points
    
12. ... nothing happens
    

tried both radios and ICS for the comms menu, nothing works.

 

I know I'm not doing sth, or messing it up, but can't figure what. I'm guessing step 6 might be the issue.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

I dont think ignoring step 6 should be an issue, can you post a track, short one of the issue and we can take a look?

Try the shift-u command (standard heatblur salute).

With that should work

Just tried it, and guess what, it worked. For some reason I figured it had been replaced by the Salute command (HB talked about remaps to standardize operations between both modules).
