Coxy_99 Posted May 22, 2020 Posted May 22, 2020 Im not sure how to put this but ill be a fair critic to this new SC module, Bare in mind we ALL still paid for the KUZ, And yes its nice its been updated but please ED re-work it i paid for the SC just for the KUZ alone along with others, I hope you really look back on the KUZ, And its not just some of the model but textures also seem stretched i compared both yes the SC will be better with KUZ a free update? But not really we still paid for it. Im been as fair as possible ban me if thats the case. BUT please look back into this.
AeriaGloria Posted May 22, 2020 Posted May 22, 2020 It looks nice for the most part, but it also shows that it was done in 2017 same time as Su-33, it seems ED has improved a lot since then. What got me was only three spawn points! Black Shark Den Squadron Member: We are open to new recruits, click here to check us out or apply to join! https://blacksharkden.com

What got me was only three spawn points! Then it should be launched with the Su-33, and not as part as a Nimitz Class Supercarrier DLC that costs between 30 to 40$ (Depending country)
Northstar98 Posted May 22, 2020 Posted May 22, 2020 Yeah that AK-630 looks worse arguably worse than the AK-630 on the Tarantul-III and Slava-class that we've had for over half a decade. Coupled with that Kortik/Kashtan CIWS which is pretty disappointing... Northstar98 Posted May 23, 2020 Posted May 23, 2020 (edited) When it comes to stable and if it comes to it, I'll be doing a large rundown of it, of similar fashion to the CAP ships I did a while back. Coxy_99 Posted May 23, 2020 Author Posted May 23, 2020 When it comes to stable and if it comes to it, I'll be doing a large rundown of it. Reported it its on a list hopefully they will make it better.
Coxy_99 Posted May 23, 2020 Author Posted May 23, 2020 My claim is your quote: We see 2016 as a big year for aircraft carrier operations as we plan to release both Nimitz-class aircraft carrier and Kuznetsov-class aircraft carrier modules. Both of these modules will be incredibly detailed models with working elevators, interior hanger bays, animated ship systems, and the ability to walk around inside the ships. These will be optional modules that would replace the existing ships currently in DCS World. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/newsletters/newsletter29012016.html
BlackPixxel Posted May 24, 2020 Posted May 24, 2020 Advanced walls that are transparent from the inside to allow the crew to see the outside without obstructions: And the animation of this radar is broken. It only does a 180° turn and then resets the animation instead of doing a 360° turn. As the antennas on both sides are different, the unfinished animation is very obvious. The animation takes just a few seconds. Just by looking at the new Kuznetsov for a few seconds this obvious could have been seen. It does not look like there was any testing. The animation bug is also present in the over 2.5 years old trailer for the Su-33 module @21 seconds:
Coxy_99 Posted May 26, 2020 Author Posted May 26, 2020 Yes i expected more yet the youtubers that tried thought it was amazing......... Clearly didnt look at the detail, I guess to them it is amazing since they got the whole SC module to show off........ If it was my review it would of been grilled but hey ho. These tubers are not honest more like suck up to ED which is sad because things should be given a fair review. Ive posted the statement from there very own newsletter so its all there, Id prefer it to be re done again and wait another 4 years for it.
