Mohamengina Posted May 22, 2020 Posted May 22, 2020 So after the latest open beta update I can't play missions with my friends anymore because we can't see each other's servers or connect by IP. Anyone else having the same issue?
F16wannabe Posted May 24, 2020 Posted May 24, 2020 Please make sure all clients and hosts are on the same version of open beta. [sIGPIC]https://forums.eagle.ru/signaturepics/sigpic108184_1.gif[/sIGPIC]
Mohamengina Posted May 25, 2020 Author Posted May 25, 2020 Please make sure all clients and hosts are on the same version of open beta. Have done that and still no dice.
RedeyeStorm Posted May 31, 2020 Posted May 31, 2020 +1 I do not run a dedicated server. Just using my own PC to host a mission for 1 or 2 other players. Can setup the server and mission fine. Can enter myself but server doesn’t show nor does direct ip connecting work. My friend gets the message ‘server offline’. Should I get an error message if my router blocks the port?
Rudel_chw Posted May 31, 2020 Posted May 31, 2020 Should I get an error message if my router blocks the port? Most routers dont block the port, but when they do receive packets for that port, they need to know to which Computer of your LAN it is meant to be sent .. this is called "port forward" and you need to configure your Router for it.
