If you go into ACM mode your radar does not go into standby mode, but rather HUD scan I believe. The radar should automatically go into standby mode if no other command is given while in ACM mode.

EDIT: normal ACM modes turns of the radar, dogfight mode however, does not turn off the radar although dogfight mode should turn off the radar.

EDIT 2: DOGFIGHT mode should keep radar locks and not turn the radar to standby if you already had a lock. If you did not have a lock DOGFIGHT mode should turn the radar into standby mode.

You mean when you press dogfight override? Noticed no rad is missing from hud, and its scans hud.

ACM should initialize into 30x20 non-radiating on DGFT override selection unless there is already a bugged target.

No, this is a bug. The radar should go into standby mode when any ACM mode is selected. This includes dogfight mode as well. This is indicated with NO RAD in your HUD.

True for switching into an ACM mode.

False for switching into DGFT override mode. (Which is how you will usually end up in ACM modes).

There, it is only true if you have no target locked already. If you do, then you take that "with you" into DGFT override mode.

No acm mode when selecting missile ovveride mode

like manual says...there are two mode...dogfight and missile override...when i select missile ovveride the fcr doesn't go in acm mode automatically...When i select dogfight it goes in acm automatically...When i go in missile override and select manually acm there is the indication no rad...i don't know if there's a bug like you say in the dogfight mode that should show the no rad indication but ther's another bug in selecting the missile override mode that doesn't turn the fcr radar in acm mode...Thank you
