Laggy BS

Loaded up the case I mission in the Tomcat, as soon as I got within 2 miles of the boat, it all turned to laggy stuttering hell (in VR). This is ridiculous. 2.5.5 everything perfect. 2.5.6 with the performance issues and the horrid tomcat cockpit lighting, nothing but a disaster.

My pc specs are good enough to run everything beautifully in 2.5.5 and like a Commodore 64 in 2.5.6

Nice rant. Provide some more info, maybe logs, specs, DxDiag and what not and report it properly on the forums instead of this spitting. That way you might actually contribute something.

Runs great on my Commodore 64 in 2.5.6. No lag whatsoever

Not that its a solution but turning shadow settings down/off will improve FPS with SC. With medium/default settings on I had 20fps and with both shadow settings off went up to 55-60fps on the action carrier mission.

This is a Pointless post wthout specs you do yourself no favour. The whole point of the forum is to try and find help and compare with people with similar specs so as to gain insight / assistance.

 

You didnt even mention how Supercarrier was running in 2.5.5 (which it clearly can't btw) so your comparing completely separate modules.

 

As i said a pointless post - hopefully ED will close it.
