In MP, Client slots flown by Humans in a Link16 capable jet, show amplifying data on the FCR page (image attached). This is the L16 amplification message, providing additional data. However, in the same mission, or in SP, the additional data isn't present. Is this correct? Surely they should both be the same.

On the same lines, is it correct that L16 amplifying data only shows on the FCR page and not the HSD?

Bugged target ID only appears on FCR yes, you get dashed line on the HSD.

I get Bugged Target ID appears in SP also, from AI wingmen for example.

Bugged target isn’t the issue. It’s the amplifying L16 data as per the attached.

What are you calling amplifying L16 data ?

If that's the PC71 shown above the datalink track on your screenshot, it's referred as Bugged Target ID in the manual, hence my answer. It shows the Datalink ID of the friendly aircraft that is targeting this datalink contact. It's only shown on the FCR.

If it's not, then i've no clue what you are talking about

Contacts to the East are F/A-18Cs, Contacts to West are F-16Cs and contact on the nose is E-3D. DL is set up correctly and at no time do you get the Callsign amplified in SP missions, unlike as shown in MP mission picture above.

You are seeing the Link16 ID of the PPLI entity that is tracking that trackfile donation. It is beside the point that it is also a PPLI track. A PPLI networked friendly is tracking another PPLI networked friendly. You'd see the same ID on a non-PPLI trackfile if a PPLI networked friendly was donating it to you.

Hi

we have checked in single player and it seems to be working correctly.

Are you sure you have link 16 activated?

In the example CT is colt flight

Hello.

I have an MP mission with 3 groups in the same side (Blue):

4 x F16, 4 x F18, 4 x M2000

F16 (blue color) & F18 (green color) are visible in HSD

but not the M2000 group. I've change the radio code

to 305 plus the Easy Comms (Force & ON) in options. No result.

Thank you

1- M2000C doesn't have datalink. Only the 2000D and 2000-5

2- VHF / UHF Radio code and easy comms have nothing to do with datalink ;)

Oh thank you for the info (1 month since came back in DCS)

Do you know how can i see all of the friendly squadrons in HSD ?

(Sorry to ask here, but it may help others to avoid assume this as a bug)

Thank you

You wont be able to see aircraft that have no datalink unless they are seen by the radar of other aircraft connected to the network like Awacs or F16/F18 for example.

Everything is set exactly as it should be and the same for both MP and SP
