What happens if you try with a smaller target, like a fighter aircraft?

There will always be bugs. If everything is a priority nothing is.

Same here, tried it on a Tomcat from rear aspect, even though I got fairly close to it, it just flew right past, so I don't know if the fuze is even working correctly. Seems still like a pretty useless missile.

This is very strange. It works for me???

Can you upload a track file where it consistently (even in the track) flies close to the target?

Also please post dcs.log of any failed proximity fuze run.

I don't understand what is going on??? Could you maybe try my test-mission?

Edit: and unfortunately neither log nor track provided any clue. The track showed the missile miss by a mil and the log didnt show any targets in close proximity except the ground at one point.

RagnarDa,

I just tried your test mission. I got a kill, then immediately exited.

I tried immediately watching the track to judge the proximity of the detonation, but in the track it the proximity fuse failed, and it flew right past the aircraft.:huh::huh::huh::huh::huh::huh::huh::huh::huh:

Try running your mission, then watching the track directly after.

EDIT: In the replay I had slowed time down to 1/4 speed.

Issue was that the fuzing logic compared the distance between the missiles position over ground and the targets position over sea level. I am uploading a new build now, so the fix will be in next patch of DCS. There seems to be something else about the fuzing not working at some times I think, it sometimes doesnt explode even if it tries to do it.

Edit: Thanks for the help guys tracking it down!

It's a Swedish missile: passive aggressive. Normal
