Had this thrice now... just the last time I forgot to plug the stick's power cord and thought, "how great DCS does hotplugging!" and now this made it crash up. Same happened in the session before when I took off my Rift which then switches off after a short while. And yesterday I had some random disconnect/reconnect issue (well, it's USB and Windows after all) that would never have been a problem to DCS, also resulting in a crash. Of that one I was able to send a crash report directly via the crash reporter dialogue. The one which happened when I took off my HMD just was the usual abrupt CTD with no logs whatsoever and the most recent one, well, I tried to send it as well, but the crash reporter itself crashed away when I tried to focus on it. I guess the first one will help already though.

For completeness, file sent in the first one and just the dcs.log of the last one attached.

Only changed the nVidia drivers, 442.19 still.

Again, never had any problems with hotplugging. Switched it off in autoexec.cfg (no_device_hotplug = true) to see if this makes a difference for the time being. I'll try switching it back on in the next version then.

Apparently it's not solely related to USB.

When the first crash happened, I had an error message saying something like Access violation, so I guessed it was memory related first.

Now I had another crash with a message saying the thing was out of video memory, that message box had an Unreal logo in the taskbar, so I guess that was Oculus Home crashing in the background - but at the same time, DCS froze up and I had to taskkill it. Never had this before - looks like a VRAM leak to me and probably is the cause of the other crashes as well.

Was sitting in a Discord by that time as well, that thing froze up as well...

Hi

I know you have 32GB RAM but try increasing your pagefile a little, currently set to zero.

Just want to see if it has an effect on your crash

Actually I was flying yesterday with no problems at all even with multiple switches to different modules in one session after being in the ME as well, post disabling the Tacview module, which also brought back my lost fps. Seems to be related to that after all. Setting a pagefile would have been my next try though.
