Yep, I'm seeing that in today's update. Even in free flight Hornet Caucasus, looking down and around shows red frame times in fpsVR which has NEVER happened before.

sorry i was on f18 on the deck of the carrier, normal and super

This behavior in the Hornet is not exclusive to VR. In 2d (I play at full 4K, though) it is the same: Look down into the cockpit, lose 10 - 15 FPS.

For me it is the completely opposite of that on the SC. When I am looking down in the cockpit and there is nothing else in my view than the cockpit, my frames rise a lot, at least 10 FPS (sitting on like 40 +/- 5 FPS when looking at the island - so around 50-60 FPS looking down in the cockpit).

What are your settings? Do you have Cockpit Global Illumination "On"? If so then try to disable it and test again and see if it is better or even no drop in frames at all.
