Will the Hornet have markpoints at some point, or is that not a feature in the C model? Unless I've been living under a rock there's no way to create a new waypoint from slewing the pod like you can do with the Hog. Flipping to the mission to try and figure out coordinates and then punch them in using the UFC seems like something IRL pilots don't do ;-)

I've tried doing it by slewing the pod to a point I want to mark then pressing throttle designate. If you then look on the SA page on one of the DDI's you can see a mark has been created. The bit I don't know and I don't even know if it's implemented yet is how to get systems to then use that created point?

Marking a point on the ground (designated in A/G or NAV or overfly position if no designation exists) should be a basic feature. Whether used by JTAC's, SaR, CAS or even NAV. We should be able to mark a point and relay coordinates or go to HSI => DATA and see these coordinates and be able to put them into one of the NAV wpt sequences. No need to change your current steer-to wpt when using wpt selection arrows. There should be an option OSB called 'RFWPT' or something like that allowing to scroll through waypoints and markpoints while steer-to waypoint previously selected doesn't change... and so on:book:

I'm not even going to ask when,
