not only visual; or should the prop only be in place ? I think ripping of he whole cowling would do also damage to propeller and engine :-)

Had same thing and messaged Nineline he said its early access damage model. So expect it to get better obviously.

would be nice if this have an effect of unbalancing and shaking the aircraft , perhaps its not big enough for a noticeable influence ?

The only damage model I see as odd isn't the plane but ME.

Just about every death wasn't the plane falling apart but insta kill headshots.
