pabletesoy Posted June 15, 2020 Posted June 15, 2020 Hello, I can't configure the F5 radio with Target, it doesn't matter if I assign the correct keyboard access (R_Alt + \) to the Hotas. I think the problem is that DCS, by default, alternates the steering wheel with the radio on the same Hotas button, depending on whether it is on the ground or flying, but I don,t know what can I do. I,ve tried to change dekeyboard acces to another, but it dosen,t work. Does anyone know how to fix it? Thanks!

Just leave the button you're gonna use as a DX button, and choose that one in DCS. Unless you're do some interesting T.A.R.G.E.T macro thing, I see no reason to use it. Lange_666 Posted June 15, 2020 Posted June 15, 2020 I think the problem is that DCS, by default, alternates the steering wheel with the radio on the same Hotas button, depending on whether it is on the ground or flying, but I don,t know what can I do. By default on the F5, the NoseWheelSteering is the "S" key, UHF Radio Microphone button is "R_ALT - ". Normally you can't assign the same key to a different control so that can't be the problem. If i'm on the ground or flying, there is not switch from Mic button to NWS or vice versa. MAXsenna Posted June 16, 2020 Posted June 16, 2020 Just checked the manual, as I completely misread your post. No! On the F-5E the nose wheel engage button on the stick, isn't shared with other features relying on weight on wheels. Wouldn't even make sence to share it c with radio functions anyway. And the radio button is on the throttle. So please explain again what you want? Sent from my ANE-LX1 using Tapatalk

For some reason the \ does not work properly within target script, remap to any other key combination with DCS controls screen and it should work fine with Target.
