GrimDeath Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 I've got a problem I can't figure out and I don't really know how to search for the answer. When you start a mission, there is a window that is popped up and you can click it or push pause to dismiss it and start flying. Well now, I don't have that window and the game is paused, I can push the Pause key and start flying, no big deal, right? Well, I have made some custom missions that have some assets listed a "client" and the window that pops up that let you pick which unit to fly won't pop up now. The only thing that I have done to my install lately is install SRS, viacom, and LotAtc. I tried uninstalling those, but the problem still persists.
draconus Posted July 1, 2020 Posted July 1, 2020 (edited) There may be still some files left in your saved games\dcs\. Try to rename the saved games\dcs folder to ex. dcs.backup and try again - a new clean profile will be created. Blackjack_UK Posted July 1, 2020 Posted July 1, 2020 Does it happen on every mission or just a specific one? Happened to me a couple of times on missions I'd created. The reason being I hadn't set anything as "player" so it was waiting for a player to join and unpause...only they couldn't. May not be your problem of course, but it might. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
rayrayblues Posted July 2, 2020 Posted July 2, 2020 You need to set other units as client in order to have them available to fly. The selection window should open. Double check to see if they are still set to client. SLAVA UKRAINI MoBo - ASUS 990FX R2 Sabertooth, CPU - AMD FX 9590 @4.7Gb.
