Used to load and fly the A10-C without this issue. I would do an auto start, and the DSMS would have all the weapons listed in the loadout. No problems for many years. Now, in the las year of so. I have to go into DSMS and load the weapons list manually into the mfd. What happened?

So, in the past, autostart, load weapons fuel. wait for alignment, and everything was good to go. No the left MFD with the DSMS doesn't have the weapons and have to go in and load with the proper button and keys to get them to show up after everything was readied and the alignment finished. I don't understand what changed, why, and is there way way to make this work the way it used to?

Thanx

It's timing issue.

It will happen depending on how much fuel you ask for. If you go over around 70% (or might be higher) , the DMS load all sequence will have already passed by the time you actually get your weapons loaded.

So quick tip, load small amount of fuel and weapons, then refuel again to the amount required, that way you won't miss the load all sequence

Another way to load the weapons is to cycle the CICU switch. After the Blue screen disappears, push the OBS- LOAD ALL. When the dot next to LOAD ALL reappears, the weapons will be loaded. It takes about a min.

LOL @autostart. Years?!? and you still use autostart?

There's no need to reset power to the CICU unit. You can just simply bring up the LOAD page on your MFD...

I agree with QuiGon, no need to cycle power to the CICU. You just need to bring up the load page again.

To bring up the load page again on your DSMS, you need to re-assign an MFCD OSB in order to bring up the LOAD page :

  1. Wait until you are re-armed and then push and hold one of the lower OSB's on either MFCD. After a moment you'll get new options on the right side OSB's. Let go of the button at this point.
  2. Select a new function, LOAD in this case, and then then click one of the lower OSB's to assign LOAD to that OSB.
  3. Then push that OSB to bring up the load page, and then select LOAD DSMS.
  4. Wait for that to finish and your new weapons will be in your DSMS. After this process your re-assigned OSB will revert back to what is normally on that button once you select a normal page (TAD, DSMS, etc).

My bad. Was meant as constructive criticism.
