killeraces Posted July 3, 2020 Posted July 3, 2020 Hi all I've recently bought the JF-17, excellent module, having heaps of fun. But one thing I noticed, I have a drop of about 10-15 FPS in VR when inside the cockpit, compared to F16 or F18... Anyone else have this problem?

I use VR, and I don't have those issues, We can help you more if you say the specs, and situations
Gladius Posted July 3, 2020 Posted July 3, 2020 I can confirm that it is the same with me. But I haven't really dealt with it yet. But will test it out more closely. In contrast to the other modules, I also have a VR loss of 10-15 FPS in the JF-17. joca133 Posted July 7, 2020 Posted July 7, 2020 I am having sporadic heavy drops (from 47fps to 5fps). It seems that if I look another way it stops immediately, then drops again if I return the view to the previous point. I think texture loading, so maybe I can`t blame JF-17.
Gannon Posted July 8, 2020 Posted July 8, 2020 I have this as well. I used to have pretty good frames in the 17, now it's borderline unplayable. Reverb, 1080ti, 3700x I get 35-50 frames in most other planes. I was getting sub 20 fps in the 17 last night. VFA-25 Fist Of The Fleet [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Joint Task Force 1 | Discord

Sajarov Posted July 8, 2020 Posted July 8, 2020 DCS is using now more RAM than a few months before. More than 20 GB is required right now in my opinion. Sent from my MiG-29S (9-13S) using Tapatalk :megalol:

Sent from my MiG-29S (9-13S) using Tapatalk I can confirm this, at least on casual experience. I was using 23GB at one point. I upgraded to 32 and its mostly smooth, but it still drops occasionally to load stuff (15fps on VR will give you a migraine).
