nscode Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 YUp :) here's some info: -it had 3 HDDs and one HUD -the config shown is with sidestick control, but this config was later rejected after experiments showed that center stick offered better brain-hand coordination, both full HOTAS -equipment and flight model was simulated using various computers: VAX, miniVAX and PCs, all connected via MIL-STD-1553B standard. Prog. language of choice was ADA. -the mockup cockpit featured a voice command interface, and -ENS - domestic targeting system based on a 16-bit microprocessor some of these systems were sold to Israel Never forget that World War III was not Cold for most of us.
