TheCamper Posted July 10, 2020 Posted July 10, 2020 Hey Guys, in this moment I have my settings all in low and I have a lot of FPS drops, I try do everything but I can't stop it. In Growling Sidewinder server my fps is around 20 and aways drops to 2 or 3 fps. My Settings: I5 6600k Gigabyte GTX 1060 Gaming 6GB SSD 960GB 16 GB RAM Resolution 2560x1080 75Hz In time: Sorry about my english. [DCS: F-5E BRASIL] [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
marcoscosta Posted July 10, 2020 Posted July 10, 2020 Res. of Cockpit Displays: just 512, not every frame Try lower preload radius, in busy servers it can destroy your performance. Your resolution is too high to GTX 1060, 1920x1080 is not a option? Lens effect: off Anisotropic Filter to 8x On Nvidia Panel, create a profile to DCS and change this settings: Power Management Mode: Maximum Performance Texture Filter - Anisotropic Sample Optimization: ON Negative LOD Bias = Allow Texture Filtering = High Performance Threaded Optimization = On And try this version of Nvidia drivers (My GTX 1060 was 10 to 20 fps faster with this version): 442.74-desktop-win10-64bit-international-whql.exe Computer: Potato Modules: FC3 | M2000C | A/V8B | Viggen | F-5E | F-14B | F-16C | F/A-18 | A-10C | Supercarrier :mad: | UH-1 | MI-8 | Gazelle | KA-50
Bob1943 Posted July 10, 2020 Posted July 10, 2020 Do you have "Mirrors" On or Off? Makes about a 10 fps difference on my machine, running an RTX 2070 Super, i7-9700k.

pacastro Posted July 10, 2020 Posted July 10, 2020 Hi I have the same graphic card, but It runs alongside an i7 7700k (Overclocked to 4.7). I play at 3440x1440 and get around 40-50 fps, drops down to 30 in supercarrier. Try checking if your processor is maxed out, if it is then upgrading to a faster clock i7 may be a way to improve your fps. I'm using the latest Nvidia driver.

Mar28 Posted July 12, 2020 Posted July 12, 2020 Mornig! You are using a Lg 29 monitor or the 25 by your resolution , a Friend of mine was using an intel 7700 16gb ram and a 1070 , he reported that with these resolution the 1070 strugle to hold good frames. My previous sistem was a i5 2500k 16gb and gtx 1070, with my 20" monitor and 1680x1050 it was easy to hold abouve 60 fps. for better frames on multiplayer 32gb ram and a better VGA is what you need or reduce visual quality.:smilewink: Best regards!:joystick: Martim MSI Z390 Gaming Plus Intel I7 8700 @4.4Ghz CoolerMaster H411R Corsair LPX 3000Mhz 32GB NVidea GTX 1080 TI XFX650W PNY SSD 256gb win10 64 Samsung SSD480gb DCS,IL21946 WD Caviar Green 1Tb Ultimate Tir5.
