Hello everyone,

I am not sure if this was asked previously, but would it be possible to set up an option on how to enter DCS upon initialization?

I fly with the Oculus Rift CV1 and upon initiating it immediately starts up in VR. But when I want to edit maps I prefer to do so in 2D, and the only way to avoid jumping into VR is by physically disconnecting the VR Cable from my GPU.

There HAS to be a better way, right? If not, can ED consider an option upon startup?

Thanks!

Duplicate the Windows shortcut that you use to launch DCS, then edit it so that its target says:

"C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin\DCS.exe" --force_disable_VR

This will launch the sim in 2D ... adjust the Path if needed.

I use SkateZilla's Launcher just for this when I want to work with DCS in 2d mode like assigning controls.
