I wanted to install DCS 1.5 on a different SSD, but after a while, everything stops

No more download, nothing. I tried 3-4 times.

Is there anything I could do ?

Right now I have this small windows on the desktop, exactly as in the attached image

Does it create any autoupdate_log.text file in your main dcs world folder. In there you could find the case error message.

In my case, I could not download two versions subsequent to current openbeta and it was some server issue related to Persian gulf map. Each time download would get to a point and just hang several times. It was a frustrating cycle of starting the 32g download over again to get freeze at some point.

Hard to tell what finally did it for me, even open a support ticket on ED website but recommended procedure did not work.

Googled some dns flush and network reset procedure, applied them and the next time I downloaded the openbeta, it did not freeze and went through to the end. Big relief.

Check the autoupdater log file for a clue if it is similar to my case.

You have to look at the root of the main DCS folder (for instance: D:\DCS World) to find the autoupdate_log.txt file. Please attach it so we can have a look at it.
