There is a official investigation about this "incident" in Germany.

The media is bored and searches for somebody to blame. First it was the ATC in Hamburg, than the pilots and now they are "suprised" that a 24 year female co-pilot was landing and the older captain took over the plane after they touched the tarmac with the left winglet.

Bla bla bla zZzz ;)

Grovee please make us update about investigation case. The thing is I don't understand how ATC let the plane land there during 150mph hard wind.

I read that ATC reported that there were gust up to 50kts, no way near 150mph.

If you have 150mph wind, you can take off in a fairly light a/c while standing still (if faced into the wind) :megalol: coz of the airflow over the wing :)

The pilot did a great job saving the jet! I was very happy to see the a320 get in the air again!

Only because the crew were idiots for trying to land in such conditions in the first place. And it was a woman co-pilot who tried to land the thing, not the pilot.

I dont fully understand whats the difference between a male and a female co-pilot in terms of fly skills...

I'd imagine there'd be no difference. I was just pointing out the fact that it was the co-pilot, not the pilot, landing the thing. She just happened to have been female.
