Icebeat Posted July 21, 2020 Posted July 21, 2020 Hi there, I have the ICP buttons bound to a button box and for some reason, I am having occasional double inputs, this is especially annoying with the enter key because double input causes the input field to be reset. Anyone having a similar or same issue? Thanks,
Sacarino111 Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 (edited) Yes I do, but I thought the problem was in my side , as my " constructions" are not that much of a "profesional" work. My trick is to press and keep it pressed (not long, but longer than a "normal" press), and usually it will take a single input. Saludos. Saca111 Edited January 4, 2021 by Sacarino111
fudabidu Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 Question is: how does your button box actually work? DX buttons (like a joystick) never gave me any trouble. If Windows and DCS detect your button box as joystick / game controller this is the way to go. Keyboard commands mapped to a button is usually handled by software and under certain circumstances key-up events (releasing the button) can get lost.
Sacarino111 Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 Hi. My setup is joystick type. I mean, I have a button box made with an Arduino (Check that amazing one! https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/97434-an-arduino-usb-hid-controller-composite-usb-controller), so I suppose it's DX button. You are right when saying that Horkeys and similar can have trouble sometimes, specially with "strange" modifiers (left Shift, Alt Graph and so...). Saludos. Saca111
