Reflected Posted July 21, 2020 Posted July 21, 2020 (edited) I sent RedKite one of the first missions of my upcoming 'Fear the Bones!' campaign, and he made an awesome preview video of it. His video editing skills are truly phenomenal. It's basically finished, it just needs the "A" model to be released. In the video, the F-14B acts as a placeholder. As you can see in this preview, this campaign is heavily story driven and at times quite 'Hollywood'. It's meant to entertain, and I hope it will bring you right back to the spring of 1989. This mission is one of the easy ones, just before things get ugly between the USA and the USSR. Enjoy! UPDATE! Following the general consensus after having read lots of constructive and helpful comments, I started looking for someone else to record the briefing at the beginning of the missions. That's when I was approached by someone who actually served several tours on aircraft carriers, and he kindly offered to help. I'm honored to work with such a person, the new briefings are in the making, they're going to be as authentic as it gets ;) Edited July 30, 2020 by Reflected Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord
Reflected Posted July 30, 2020 Author Posted July 30, 2020 Why not just make it for the F-14B? I thought about that, but it's set in 1989 and VF-84 never flew the 'B'. Only 103 did. Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord
btaft Posted July 30, 2020 Posted July 30, 2020 I think you could get away with a little artistic license in that  Especially for a module that hasn't appeared yet and who knows when it would be in a condition to be usable in a polished campaign like yours. Of course you may have more of an inside line on the A's development effort. Just a fan of your work and would like to see it out there. Another project you might consider would be one based on "Viper Pilot" by Dan Hampton
