Hi,

I find I'm unable to plug the right basket on this aircraft. The left one works no problems, but I swear I've slid my probe right through the center of the basket on the right side several times with no connection; it's like it's not there. I made sure to be very close to the right basket before calling "ready pre-contact" to ensure it was clear which basket I was going for, but no dice.

Has anyone used the right basket on the 135 MPRS with the Hornet recently? This is on the Persian Gulf map if that's relevant.

Thanks...

Wow, thanks for the sanity check. I didn't think about that... I'll try it with a wingman next time.

Yep, I sent my wingman to the tanker and he beat me to the left basket. So I had to go over to the right side. If you are already on the left, the wingman will go to the right.

I found that tanking on the right side was soooo much harder for some reason. Probably 100% mental on me since I had never done it before.

Hah, yes, I struggled at first on the right basket too! Eventually got the sight picture figured out after maybe 15 bad approaches. That's why I'm glad to hear the basket really wasn't working in my scenario though... it was starting to make me paranoid ;).
