Loading up this Mission I get the Warning: "Need Modules for load mission: WWII Armour and Technics"

 

A Little Cryptic - Not Quite Specific enough to Know exactly what is Missing.

 

So I'm assuming it's trying to tell me I need the:

'DCS: WWII Assets Pack'

Package includes B-17 Bombers. Does the Instant Action Mission automatically draw the resources it needs from the WWII Asset Module just like a Scenery/Object Package ?

You are correct, you will need to purchase the WWII Assets Pack.

 

I can't tell you exactly what the mission uses from that pack other than the obvious... The B17.
