Pity - whoever wrote the preshow press release did not watch the show! It was all about the P-47 and not the A-10!

Aye - but the P-47 Thunderbolt being the Granddaddy of the A-10 Thunderbolt II, they just got the Generations mixed up a wee bitty :D

There was a piece on the show "Future Weapons" here in the States on Wednesday. It profiled the A-10C and showed the new displays, HOTAS in the cockpit and new sensors, plus new standoff capabilities. The host, an Ex Navy Seal got to fly the simulator, would of loved to do that.... :pilotfly:
