The latter is much more realistic in my opinion. They are Physically set on the weapon using a screw driver. The ultimate solution would be a screen showing the seeker head and the setting screws and you adjust them. True, but they get set as part of the mission planning I guess, which fits the data cartridge better than the kneeboard. Having it in the kneeboard is definetaly better than how it is now though. But this should be the way all LGB capable aircrafts need to be setup. No more Kneeboard or changing via MFD (except maybe with a user option? Fits into the realism / difficulty settings?).
