Done! I have established a list of possible suspects (orange color in my Google Sheet). :detective:

It would be great to identify the process causing so much trouble to DCS. I'd like you to disable one of the following services, then try DCS right after and see how the game is doing. Then disable the next suspect, and so on and so forth. Are you OK with that?

To disable a service, run "services.msc", find the service in the list, right-click it, Properties, verify the short name of the service corresponds, then click Stop.

Some of the suspects are not services. You can simply kill those using the Task Manager. Good hunting! :crash:

WOW...I can't thank you enough for taking the time to do all this!

Buy me a beer if you ever go visit Paris. ;)

This process hunt is important because you are probably not alone in having this issue. Hopefully, we'll "fix" this issue for many others.

YOU DID IT!!!!

With your list, I noticed all the MSI services, so I went into my Dragon Center console and noticed that I had DCS listed as a game with the "Extreme Gaming" option turned on.

So, I removed DCS and now I am getting 140 FPS!!!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!

I will buy you MANY beers the next time I am in Paris (though, no time soon)...or let me know if you're ever in the US.

THANKS SO MUCH!!!
