Bagpipe Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 Hi folks, I have run out of space for all my dcs products and so have had to temporarily remove Nevada from my hard drive. However, whenever i try to update dcs it starts re-installing nevada. When i go to module manager i can't see a way of disabling nevada as it is not installed so does not show in the list. Any ideas how to tell dcs to stop downloading this terrain? thanks
rrohde Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 What I did: I moved the module slider to the off position (from green to gray), and then clicked on the trash bin on the right to uninstall. Since then, I only get a reminder that I could install the terrain again, but it doesn't do so automatically. I get the feeling that i should have done this instead of deleting the folder as now I will have to re-install the terrain just to remove it...

If you delete the folder. When an update comes out or you have the DCS repaired. It will download the deleted module again. You have to disable the module in the module manager's home. |Motherboard|: Asus TUF Gaming X570-PLUS, |WaterCooler|: Corsair H115i Pro, |CPU|: AMD Ryzen 7 3800X, |RAM|: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB 3200MHz DDR4, |SSD|: Kingston A2000 500GB M.2 NVMe, |SSD|: Kingston 2.5´ 480GB UV400 SATA III, |SSHD|: Seagate Híbrido 2TB 7200RPM SATA III, |GPU|: MSI Gaming 980Ti, |Monitor|: LG UltraWide 34UM68, |Joystick 1|: Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog, |Joystick 2|: T.Flight Rudder Pedals, |Head Motion|: TrackIr 5.
