Rethinking of Stuck planes mechanic while off-roading.

I wanted to ask for a rethink of the planes getting stuck mechanic when you land on dirt.

Is understandable that planes like the P51 and P47 doesn't get stucks, because they used to use dirt runways. But, what I don't understand is why planes like the L39 or C101 are not able to do so, they're almost as lightweight as a P51 and P47 (If not more), but they get stuck like they weight 30tons.

Also, other planes like F18 IIRC doesn't get stucks, so please, instead of asssigning to the game what planes does get stuck, and what others dont, use a number of tons, (For example, 7T). That way you can land in FARPS for example.

How do you know if the undercarriage and or wheels of the L-39 or C-101 are able to land off-road? Do you have any proof to back up your request?

DCS L-39 manual states its undercarriage is built to be used on unprepared runways, so IMHO the discussion makes sense.

"Unprepared runways" doesn't mean any patch of long enough field though. Normally means roads and similar.

 

Not a subject I know much about, but fairly sure no field is the same as there's the factors of compact the soil is, how much moisture there is (ie, not boggy), composition of the soil etc... that'll affect how much weight it'll hold and if the airplane can operate off it.
