Hoirtel Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Hi does anyone know if there is a feature or mod that allows to add co-ordinates marked in the mission editor to appear on the kneeboard. Similar to the way the harrier works with target points but does not have to be auto-integrated into the aircraft. This might have been asked before, but as a VR user writing co-ords down in a word doc, to then save them as png and add to kneeboard is a bit of a pain and seems like this could be a simple feature. Might be a good feature for ED to add if they are serious about VR users. I don't mind adding them into the aircraft "manually" but hate the process of saving them. feels like a workaround. I think possibly the kneeboard needs much better integration in the misson editor overall. Seems like a wasted opportunity to make the game much easier to use. It would also be good to have the kneeboard as a floating VR window rather than the current cut-in, but I can live with that.
Lt_Jaeger Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Check for VRKneeboard (VRK) for a more VR friendly experience, won't help with your problem though, Gesendet von meinem LYA-L29 mit Tapatalk
Pikey Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 For lots of Coordinates use I use DCS-Scratchpad. There isnt an unmodded way of doing what you need. Scratchpad can use copy and paste. SO you can actually copy with CTRL+C from a Markpoint on the map and CTRL+V into scratchpad. You can prepopulate it before mission start and it will appear on screen in a transparency rather than a large kneeboard that requires a picture format. It's basically a hidden gem for DCS VR users and folks that dont want full featured mental apps. Or...
