Redeye 43 Posted October 9, 2020 Posted October 9, 2020 Something I really wanna do is make crazy 20-30G pulls with the F-14 for pure kicks with Immortal on. This is, of course, impossible, because the INS will not survive a 20-30G pull. Any chance for a perfect INS option or something along those lines, if it's easy to program? Maybe two options - one for INS drift, one for high-G stuff?
QuiGon Posted October 9, 2020 Posted October 9, 2020 I'm surprised the wings stay on above 10G. "Immortal on" Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
eatthis Posted October 9, 2020 Posted October 9, 2020 I'm surprised the wings stay on above 10G. wings are good for 13g iirc 7700k @5ghz, 32gb 3200mhz ram, 2080ti, nvme drives, valve index vr
captain_dalan Posted October 10, 2020 Posted October 10, 2020 I'm surprised the wings stay on above 10G. Why wouldn't they stay on? If the plane was constructed and tested up to 11-13g i mean.... Modules: FC3, Mirage 2000C, Harrier AV-8B NA, F-5, AJS-37 Viggen, F-14B, F-14A, Combined Arms, F/A-18C, F-16C, MiG-19P, F-86, MiG-15, FW-190A, Spitfire Mk IX, UH-1 Huey, Su-25, P-51PD, Caucasus map, Nevada map, Persian Gulf map, Marianas map, Syria Map, Super Carrier, Sinai map, Mosquito, P-51, AH-64 Apache, F4U Corsair, WWII Assets Pack
Nealius Posted October 12, 2020 Posted October 12, 2020 Why wouldn't they stay on? If the plane was constructed and tested up to 11-13g i mean.... Any time I've pulled instantaneous 10G in the sim one of the wings becomes a projectile. Gradual increase up to 10G and it's usually fine, though.
