Well, it was not a very funny joke, in any case. If that's the peak of your comedic ability, then the ban was probably well-deserved (but hey, at least it wasn't puns...). :)

 

Seriously, though, you need to work on your delivery. It wasn't "Schwarzenegger voice", you sounded like a random internet kid with no undestanding of netiquette. Those are common enough that simply imitating them and things they post (which is exactly the sort of over the top drivel you posted) instead of being funny, just pegs you as one of these. We also do not need random joke threads on this board.

 

I never claimed to be a comedian. Im very active on this and some other parts of ED. I figured itd be more or less obvious I wasnt being serious.

Anyone whose read *any* of my content would note that the 'ignore the whines' etc is totally out of character for someone who is hard on ED>

it absolutely is a sensitivity because while you alone are not in control of what ed does, there is an existing phenomenon where people try to backseat manage a company's decisions by engineering democratic pressure through a community

 

democratic or not a bad idea is a bad idea and people here have learned their lesson on what a bad idea is, and so even if it's a joke, it remains a bad idea therefore a bad joke

Terrible concept and idea to be honest, ill thought through with no consideration for the DCS Architecture.

 

The issue in releasing a module is not just that module itself but how it fits into the overall ecosystem and whether that new injected code creates conflict and issues with the existing game engine, aka causes the game to crash.

 

Considering most servers run quite rightly on OB an alpha product released into beta is an accident waiting to happen. Quite rightly this is what the closed beta testing group is for.

 

Why anyone would even consider to support this idea or train of thought amazes me.
