bobaz
I'm getting usb connect/disconnect sounds randomly. Sometimes when plugging in a thumb drive, or other usb device win10 tells me it's having a problem, & it's not. Thought usb drivers update may help, but win10 says the installed drivers are the best. Couldn't find anything useful in a search. Any idea of a fix? speed-of-heat
Are you connected to you MB or a HUB , is the Hub powered? Some people have reported problems unpowered hubs or MB not delivering enough power SYSTEM SPECS: Hardware Intel Corei7-12700KF @ 5.1/5.3p & 3.8e GHz, 64Gb RAM, 4090 FE, Dell S2716DG, Virpil T50CM3 Throttle, WinWIng Orion 2 & F-16EX + MFG Crosswinds V2, Varjo Aero SOFTWARE: Microsoft Windows 11, VoiceAttack & VAICOM PRO YOUTUBE CHANNEL: @speed-of-heat
aracas11
I`m having similar problems. I use a combination of two 7 port powered hubs and direct USBs on the motherboard. Sometimes it can drop a device but in the last couple of days it has become very frequent. I thought it might have somthing to do with Windows 10 rather than DCS. Len62
Bad/loose hub socket? A while back I would occasionally get the mysterious connect/disconnect sound. I traced it to a socket that wasn't tight. The least little movement of the plug would trigger the disconnect/connect sound.
bobaz
Thanks Len, I'll keep that in mind. Actually, that makes me think I have two separate problems, the sounds, & windows saying the plugged in usb device is having a issues. My wife's computer is saying that also, like it's a possible win10 error.
