A friend of mine has this issue after updating to stable to the last version a few days ago, fast mission creator is unable to create the mission at all, and it says "can't find options.lua". Since we're somewhat quarantined I tried to help from distance and couldn't figure out what was going on. Then he sent me a picture of the error message and all of a sudden it all made sense, but I haven't the faintest with how to fix it. It says can't find "C:\Users\username\saved games\DCS\\config\options.lua", and it's obvious there are an extra \, but, how on Earth do I edit that file?? And, how did it happen to change in the first place to avoid it in the future? Where are those fast mission creator options stored in order to edit them? Thanks! Please ask your friend to: 1/ Rename "C:\Users\his_name\Saved Games\DCS" folder as "DCS_backup" 2/ Start the game 3/ Try to generate a fast mission Then he can delete the new "DCS" folder and rename the backup as "DCS". I've been struggling with forum search all evening and no suitable results appeared :doh: . I already told him to do so on the phone, we talked and I hope he followed my instructions correctly. Apparently nothing changed despite "deleting" the Saved Games folder and trying to launch a fast mission with it "removed", which baffled me and let me without ideas. Gonna peruse that whole thread.
