Before anyone go womenly.... i m too lazy to use shearch button.

That being sayd, i am reinstalling my most loved flight sims (that i can run on a modern PC.) after upgrading my Cougar with the awesomes MK mods from CUBBY http://www.cubpilotshangar.net/, and while i wait for my also modified RCS Thrustmaster, i woud like the pro advices:

i possess an old "game commander" program, but it seems the company got KO, and refeee counted until 10, so its game over for the comander. Honorable burial has been given.

So, what software to issue voice orders/ issue voice comunication you guys recomend ?

Freeware are more welcome than payd solution.

Also i am thinking of buying a small lcd monitor to act as instrument panel.

What can you recomend in software/hardware. (my dream would be a MFD, but i don t think they exist for amateur simmers.)

Thank in advance for the answers.

VAC works fine with Lockon. I use it with my AI wingmates successfully...well.... they are still stupid as doornails, but now at least I can tell them to be the bait when I need them to ;-)

Use it for IL-2 too, works wonderful.

I used Voicebuddy when I was on XP, and it worked fine too, but with Vista I never got it too work..

If you are low on cash, try Shoot. Freeware that works fine and has complete profiles for lockon

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

VR Commander.

It uses a seperate engine for voice commands.

Not the built in Windows one.

Works like a charm.

Possibilities are almost endless.......

You can assign all you want, using different templates.

I had my Windows running on VR, almost no need of a mouse and keyboard.

Good luck!
