Phantom keybinding

I have removed all the keybindings from the fuel mixture lever but for whatever reason whenever I press left control the mixture lever moves. This is quite a problem because I use left control as a modifier. I've checked the controls section and double checked that all bindings for the fuel mixture are removed but the problem still remains.

So no one else is having this issue? I've tried to reset my controls for this aircraft and the mixture controls over and over but still whenever I press left ctrl my mixture switch goes to idle cutoff

are you sure you have checked for double keybinds?

Yeah been through it a couple of times and can't find it binded to anything. It doesn't happen when I remove left ctrl as a modifier but it's linked to so many binds that I don't really want to do that.

Have you checked the bindings for "UI Layer"? In Options/Controls, select "UI Layer" instead of an aircraft. UI Layer bindings override everything else.

I found the "phantom" lurking in the axis commands. I think one of the rotator switches is faulty on my joystick so that when the ctrl key is pressed it activated the mixture switch. Deleted this axis command and it's back up and working as it should.
