Alexrey Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 Hey guys, I'm kinda new to Lock On (been playing for about 1.5 months now) and know the basics of WVR and BVR tactics. I'm hoping to join a squad that will be able to teach me some more advanced tactics. Right now I only have Lock On: Modern Air Combat, but in a few weeks I'll be getting Flaming Cliffs in the post thanks to Hitman donating his copy to me. If anyone is willing to take me under their wing, please let me know! Thanks.
Fudd Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 I'm guessing you're not only new to lock-on, but life also? I'm not trying to be condescending, I just think you should follow 159th_Viper's instructions here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=479642&postcount=84 You need to do your homework; just posting that you are ready to join a squad does not mean that they are going to come to you. Just like a Fraternity or Sorority, you need to show that you are actually interested in what the squad is about before you can just join up with them. Edit: The Sorority Squads around here know who they are! :D The code is probaly in Russian anyway.
RvETito Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 HyperLobby is the way to go. Go there, fly with various squads/people and eventualy you'll find your virtual home. But you are on the right track- being in a squad will make you discover whole new horizons of virtual flying. Good luck! "See, to me that's a stupid instrument. It tells what your angle of attack is. If you don't know you shouldn't be flying." - Chuck Yeager, from the back seat of F-15D at age 89. =RvE=
monotwix Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 How are you keeping hitman_214 alright? Have you been looping in the blue lately? :) I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully.
hitman Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 Ive been around...Im very surprised to see my account unbanned. Im over at lockonfiles anyways as well as beta testing for sim-mod reload terrain. Other than that, been doing retraction tests on a non-flyable 747 last week under instructions. I get mine. 1
