Is this happening only to me or?

when I TMS right on the TGP while in point track I get the handoff in progress message on Mav WPN page. TGP doesn't leave point track mode and goes area track, it stayin in point track

If that is correct behavior how do I unlock?

This behavior only happens when Maverick is selected. The purpose of TMS right with Maverick selected is to command a rehandoff. I don't think it should interrupt when handoff is turned off (MAN) but in DCS it still does.

To return to area track mode, TMS aft and then TMS right or TMS aft and slew.

Ok I've searched the Access Guide for the F16, for the AGM 65 Handoff Submode on page 164 it says, that

"AUTO. TMS right will hand off the lock to the AGM-65if the target contrast and size meets criteria of missile lock."

It doesn't say that TMS FWD should do the handoff as well. At the moment TMS FWD does the handoff to the maverick too. So we have 2 commands for handoff?

Wags video also says TMS FWD short for handoff.

Hi,

TMS right commands AREA track. However, if an AGM-65D/G is the selected weapon and the TGP is in POINT track, hand-off in progress or complete, TMS right will reject the hand-off and reinitiate the hand-off sequence.

Best regards,

Yes that is true, but TMS FWD (or TMS UP) is also executing the handoff.

you haven't even read my post.

Should I create a new thread with TMS FWD or UP = mav handoff being a bug?

TMS FWD or UP = mav handoff

TMS Right = mav handoff

is this correct?
