CommandT Posted November 12, 2020 Posted November 12, 2020 Hey folks, I'm sure there's a way to kiss off your wingman before yo break over the carrier but I can't for the love of god find a command to map in the controls section nor a radio menu option to make this happen so my wingman just ends up following me round the whole circuit before it's logic decides something is not right and he shoots off on final. What's the name of the command or radio menu option? Cheers!
dorianR666 Posted November 12, 2020 Posted November 12, 2020 it appears in the ATC radio menu of chosen carrier at appropriate time (after signal charlie i think?). it only exists for supercarrier module though, not base game carriers. CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600X GPU: AMD RX 580

Interesting. I'll have to have a closer look next time. Thanks!
CommandT Posted November 15, 2020 Author Posted November 15, 2020 One more thing. How do you kiss off/ get rid of your wingman on a CASE 3 recovery?
Harker Posted November 15, 2020 Posted November 15, 2020 One more thing. How do you kiss off/ get rid of your wingman on a CASE 3 recovery? Your wingman should break off and do his own thing (get established on the radial at a certain DME and altitude and then push) after you contact mother for CASE III, you don't need to do anything. I don't if push times work for AI + player or only for AI+AI though. Multiple AI aircraft will respect each other's push times and won't all try to land at the same time, but I don't think that they respect the player's push time. Could be wrong though, I mostly play MP. The vCVW-17 is looking for Hornet and Tomcat pilots and RIOs. Join the vCVW-17 Discord.
