Great job on the VF-41.

Makes me realize,  he had until now no Black Aces livery to fly within the module.

Great submission. Thanks

I'm Reading Black Aces High, that's where the Inspiration comes from. Always Liked the Tomcat as a Bombcat. Reading Up on the History behind it and how the fine Folks Put it into it's New roles, you Just have to appreciate the people behind it even more 🙂

I finished that book also. Great read indeed! You have good taste brother! Those stories, missions and the way the the book is written, really makes you feel like you were there. And thanks for the Aces livery, I use it frequently!

DO it or Don't, but don't cry about it. Real men don't cry!

A quick heads up to those working on submissions:

The B model stencils as provided in the skinning templates are not exactly right for A models. A number of changes need to be made to correctly represent the A model, most glaringly the intake stencils and fire punch-ins on the engine nacelles. Some of the various warning stencils as well are in locations different from the B models we have as well as the actual wording in some cases.

Black Aces High is great. If you're interested in fiction; check out Punk's War, Punk's Wing and Punk's Fight by Ward Carroll. Carroll was an F-14 NFO. I believe he writes in the same way Kevin Miller does, events that happened to him or he knows of that are then embellished or changed to meet the book's story line.

She's not a "fleet" jet, she didn't serve during any of the crises or interventions in the 80s, never was near Libya or Syria or the PG, but a lesser known element of the F-14A's history is submitted.

No, you can't download it yet because I have to completely redo the tails and get them to Ensamvarg at some point, but at least she's here. I'll probably do a few other line jets showing the different schemes the tails went through, and whenever we get the proper Block 135/140 visual model look for their fresh off the factory floor jets.

I'll also do VF-202, I know one version of AF200 was submitted but I've been working off some different photos and have been able to find some stencils that were missing in most of the references out there thanks to the F-14 Tomcat Association.

All I know is that the final deadline is January 28th. So, without a doubt, the winners will be picked sometime after then lol. Aside from that, I have no clue.

Hello everyone!

Wanted to drop a note and thank everyone for their submissions. We are blown away at the number of amazing liveries and you made our job of choosing a winner very difficult.

Bravo!!

Each and every one of you should know that we truly appreciate the time, effort and creativity that went in to making these. You are all winners in my book.

We will now spend some time discussing the entries internally and hope to reach a decision soon.

Thank you again for all that you do to make our modules look so amazing.
