zoranin73 Posted November 18, 2020 Posted November 18, 2020 I try everything but I can t get signal on arc-ud,watched all tutorial which I can find but nothing seems to work for me.On arc-ud panel I put on narrow, put preset chanell on r 828 radio, tune station and nothing, try hundred times??
TwinkieAvenger Posted November 19, 2020 Posted November 19, 2020 I haven't tried this myself but the manual says on pg 117: To use the R-828 radio in conjunction with the ARK-UD homing set to home on to a ground station, first establish voice contact with the station and request a tone modulated signal from the ground station operator for the desired frequency. Once the tone signal is confirmed in the headset, set the Р-828 СВЯЗЬ-КОМПАС" (R-828 VOICE-HOMING) mode switch to "КОМПАС" (HOMING). Observe the needle on the UGR-4UK directional gyro for signal bearing. Perhaps you need to use the radio communications menu with the R-828 tuned and in "VOICE/СВЯЗЬ" mode to request enabling the homing beacon first?
Looney Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 Can confirm, tried setting up ARK-UD beacon 1 at 114.166 and couldn't get it to work in MP. Haven't tried SP though. Looney Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 I was too far away and on the ground I didn't get a signal. It works now, thanks. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Commodore 64 | MOS6510 | VIC-II | SID6581 | DD 1541 | KCS Power Cartridge | 64Kb | 32Kb external | Arcade Turbo
