Correct CDU Mark Points (A - Y) can be deleted by pressing the DELETE MARKPOINT button on the CDU. The blank butting to the left of the “BCK” button is the Delete CDU Mark Point button.

simply have a mark point pulled up on the WAYPT page and press it to delete.

Fear I'm taking you wrong, should this blank button delete any waypoint record from waypoint page? Or just markpoints?

just markpoints

Rgr. Any knowledge what should be on CDU if delete button is mistakenly pressed on standard WP in that case?

(I did find one button set that did erase ALL markpoints... L Ctrl + E    🤣)

That might be a bug then, because afaik ejection from the aircraft should not erase the markpoints. As far as I know an ejection should only erase the IFF cyphers.

Well, maybe not but it no longer matters to the pilot floating down in his / her 'chute!

I hope that you realize it was a feeble attempt at a joke...

I did, which was the reason for my non-serious answer as there is no way to check the waypoints anymore after ejection
